As a freelance journalist, I write mainly on women's issues, especially those affecting women over 40. Areas include fashion and clothing, hair and beauty, diet and exercise, health and wellness, and ageing.
I also have a strong interest in writing about ecological issues, particularly sustainable energy and green living, and fair trade.
My feature writing has covered a wide range of lifestyle subjects - including interiors, recruitment, property, travel and, of course, life in France. My articles have appeared in France magazine, Everything France, Period Living, Period Homes, Homes away from Home, Living France and Homes Overseas. My first book, Living in France, commissioned and published by Harriman House, was released in March 2008.
I have a background in editorial production (see Why I'm a Writer) and have adapted these skills to the web. As a web editor I have worked on sites covering subjects as diverse as living in France, being a UK first-time buyer, and pregnancy and fertility.
I am now moving into copywriting and am especially focusing on the fashion, clothing, beauty and health sectors.
I am married to writer, editor and photographer Steve Mansfield-Devine. You can find full details of our services, including sample features, at WebVivant.
