Back with a vengeance
Well, not so much a vengeance as a whimper, but back at least.
I've been away for a bit. Not away from my desk, you understand, just away from my blog.
This is on account of a: having loads of work in, which was very welcome, b: moving machines, from my desktop to the DH's old desktop.
The former has been very stressful and not, as yet, very rewarding, though let us hope it pans out in the long run. I am currently at the bottom of the steep climb, staring up.
The latter has been fabulous. I had no idea them interwebs was so fast. Now I know why the DH spends all day on there without cursing at Flash. I have a faster processor and a bigger hard drive or hard disk or something. Anyway, it's better, which should mean I can blog more quickly.
Sadly, in the migration I lost all my tabs in Firefox, so I can't link to all the things I was planning to: the article on Max Hastings' mother, the piece on Kathryn Bigelow, the last collection of Alexander McQueen, which was finished by his colleagues. Oh la. Must have a trawl around and see what I can find. Back later. ....
