Dating over 50

Dating agencies are cottoning on to a whole new market - the silver singles

Found this list on the Guardian the other week - a dating guide for those in mid and later life.

With more and more people single in later life, numerous agencies have sprung up to cater for their needs. Most are aimed at those of 50 and above. There are also specialist holiday companies aimed at the silver tourist. 

The article also has a list of other ideas for finding romance, such as volunteering.

A couple of the links are broken. The link for UK Mature Dating is a dotcom, not a dot co uk, and the same for Over 50s.

It is good to see that society is cottoning on to the fact that life doesn't end once you are over 50! Most of the media thinks it does of course but the great thing about the internet is that it is run by 'normal' people rather than commercial big guns.

Some good sites on the list, would like to add ours: http://www.olderwisedating.com - a site that is only for over 50s. Unlike many sites there are no young men looking for a cougar, just mature people looking for love & romance
